Well early friday morning we had a surprise waiting for us!!! TWINS!!! I didn't think the breeding took so I wasn't expecting any babies till this summer, boy was I wrong!! Meet Bonnie and Clyde!! two sweet baby goats!!! They are for sale so be sure to check out my sales page!!!
We had our first birth on the farm yesterday! It was so exciting. Sugar our sweet girl was 5 days late but delivered a happy healthy blue eyed baby boy! Hope you enjoy the pictures :) check out our sale page for info on bringing this cute baby home. Lots of new things happening since my last post here at the farm! For starters our new girl cinnamon has arrived! We now have 46 chickens plus 9 new baby chicks we got just today. 11 of our chicks are roaming free all around the back yard loving all the bugs!!! This is momma hen and her two baby chicks. This is my boy Luke! My 5 white silkies :) My new babies from today! I also updated my pens with sand to hopefully help with all the rain we have been getting! It's been very busy here!! Not to mention little miss Sugar is due on the 4th!!! Stay tuned!! Bottle feeding is so rewarding! Benny is really doing great! He is my first bottle baby so we are learning together :)
Today is yet another warm day after many cold ones and the animals are loving it!
Hamlet loves his new house but always comes running when he hears mommas voice!
Baby loves being up high and no one else can get up there :) I think she may think she is a cat :)
She loves looking down at the other girls!
And Nannie thinks she is Queen Goat, the other girls don't mind letting her be the boss.
